Using the Adjusta-Watt® Splitter Cable, it’s possible to power two Adjusta-Watt® Retro LEDs and cover twice the area using just one ballast. The splitter cable divides the power evenly between the two fixtures, 360w per fixture, but also reduces the current, thus increasing the efficiency to 2.8μmol per fixture. Positioning the fixtures at 15cm above the canopy will deliver an average PPFD of 710μmol/s/m². This is higher per m2 than 600w HPS positioned at 40cm, but consumes half the power.
